The 2021 BMW 4 Series Convertible conceives the German automaker’s current styling language and radiates the classic sporty character. The looks and performance have been notched up a bit to make the convertible distinct from the 3 Series line-up in every manner.

The new BMW 4 Series Convertible will be offered in 6 trims- 420i, 430i, 420d, 430d, M440d xDrive and the flagship model, the M440i xDrive.
The flagship model, the M440i xDrive Convertible boasts a 2998cc six-cylinder in-line petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid tech. The high-performance spec model in the line-up delivers a maximum power output of 379 PS and offers a peak torque of 500 Nm. The 48V battery offers an additional 11 PS of power. The engine is coupled with a 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission.

The M440i xDrive Convertible can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds. The premium sporty sedan boasts a top speed of 250 kmph.
The rest of the trims in the line-up which offer the other two engine options- 1998cc 4-cylinder petrol and 1995cc 4-cylinder in-line diesel with 48V mild hybrid tech- will launch later in 2021.
The 2021 4 Series Convertible has a unique body design with dynamically stretched proportions and a low-to-the-road silhouette. The larger and wider signature kidney grille gives the convertible the classic BMW touch and giving it a distinct road presence at the same time.
The convertible comes with a newly developed panel bow softtop roof which is as strong as a retractable hardtop and gives a puristic appeal of a fabric hood. The new roof is 40% lighter than the predecessors’ designs.
The M Sport packages mix up the premium ambience with a sporting flair. The M Sport Package Pro comes with exclusive suspensions, brake callipers, 19-inch M light-alloy wheels, sporty engine soundtrack in the cabin and an optional M Carbon exterior package.
