MANLEY DALE REYNOLDS, 79, of Lapeer, formerly of North Branch, died Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born May 24, 1942 in Pontiac, to Clarence and Violet (Parrot) Reynolds.
Manley owned and operated Wheel Ranch Used Cars for over 30 years. After closing Wheel Ranch, he bought and sold cars as a wholesale dealer for many more years. He loved everything about “dealing” cars…antique cars, used cars and getting cars for family and friends. Mr. Reynolds had many dear friends from his many years attending used car auctions and selling cars. He was especially proud of his 1939 Packard. Manley married Lee Heussner on November 10, 2010, here in Lapeer. Mr. Reynolds collected and restored every kind of pedal car and tractor you can imagine…his collection was very large. Manley loved time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandbaby.
Manley is survived by his wife, Lee Reynolds of Lapeer; children, Dale (Melissa) Reynolds of Whitmore Lake and Shari (Rob) Burda of Columbiaville; grandchildren, Nickolas (Anna) Reynolds, Lucas Reynolds, Ethan Reynolds, Katlyn (Greg) Rowden, Courteney Brink, Megan Burda, Chase Burda, Sean Sturgeon, Joe Sturgeon, Jonas Sturgeon and Grace Sturgeon; great-grandchild, Chesney Rowden; and siblings, Glenn Reynolds of Atlanta, MI, Vickey (Paul) Anderson of Imlay City, Herb Reynolds of Columbiaville and Terry Thomas of Kalkaska; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Reynolds is also survived by his “Special Fur Baby”, Baby the Cat. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Violet Reynolds; and siblings, Marie McGlashen, Brad Reynolds, Clarence Reynolds and Gary Reynolds.
A gathering to celebrate Manley’s life will be held 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. No formal funeral service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue, 2266 N. Lapeer Rd., Lapeer, MI. In accordance with Manley’s wishes cremation has taken place.
