While it doesn’t fall on a Tuesday, Oct. 4 is the day to stop what you’re doing and devour some tacos in honor of National Taco Day in the United States. And Americans take taco consumption very seriously, eating about 4.5 billion each year, according to nationaltacoday.com.

Black Rooster Taqueria: Buy three, get one free on all tacos starting at 11 a.m. Oct. 4 at 1323 N. Mills Ave. in Orlando. Plus, all visitors will receive a limited edition Black Rooster Taqueria car magnet. For more information, visit Black Rooster’s Facebook page.

Chronic Tacos: On Oct. 4, all loyalty members will receive a free chicken, carnitas, al pastor or veggie taco through the rewards section of Chronic Tacos’ app. Note: Accounts must be created by Oct. 2 to get this deal. For more information, go to chronictacos.com/rewards.

Del Taco: Del Taco is giving away free tacos every Saturday during Tacoberfest. Gringos Locos: Celebrate National Taco Day with Happy Hour specials — $2.50 tacos, $6 burritos and $2.50 beers, plus free chips and salsa — from 4-8 p.m. Oct. 4 at four Orlando locations: 22 E. Washington St., 2406 E. Robinson St., 517 E. Michigan St. and 4258 W. Plaza Drive.

Moe’s Southwest Grill: In honor of National Taco Day, Moe’s rewards members receive $5 off the Taco Kit (starts at $29.99), which serves 4-6 people and includes a choice of two proteins, tortillas, queso, beans, rice, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream and chips.
