Your chance to buy a Macomb County event venue during a global pandemic has arrived

If you want to buy an event center during a pandemic in which many remain wary of gatherings and large indoor ones are prohibited, now is your chance.

The Bravado Event Venue in Clinton Township heads to online auction Sept. 28-30 with a starting bid of $400,000.

Damian Smoter, vice president on Bethesda, Md.-based special servicer CWCapital’s RealINSIGHT Marketplace team working on the auction, said the owner had been discussing a sale prior to the COVID-19 outbreak in Michigan.

“We started the conversation in February,” Smoter said.

Owner Gordie Kosch, founder and CEO of Kosch Dining Solutions, said the event venue at 36217 S. Gratiot Ave. takes a big chunk of his time and he’s looking to “lessen the load.”
